A bit confused about choosing a martial art in particular. If anyone has any sites reference to help decide which would be great. I am 37 years but still not easily hurt by anything.
Try several different styles. Search dojos that teach more than one style, a couple of lessons in each, see what you think. That can cost a little more to go with a style from the start, but think of it as an investment in their welfare and safety. And do not give up judo – not everything is up and shoot. The mat is a great training if overthrown and forced into a catch. And exercise is great if you want to keep losing weight.
